Is
previous pageant or modeling experience required?
Absolutely Not! 90% of the contestants has never entered a pageant
before. They do exceedingly well.
Is
there a Talent Phase?
There is no talent involved.
Is
there a swimsuit competition?
(Teen Division Only)
Yes. Competition for the swimsuit can be a one piece or two piece
a solid swimsuit, with matching wrap around. No string bikinis. Clear shoes and at least 2½ inch heels
must be worn with your swimsuit.
How
much is the entry fee?
Most National pageant entry fees start at $975-$1200.00. Our pageant
is very affordable. The entry fee is $695.00. A $295 deposit is required within ten days of applying.
What
does the entry fee include?
The entry fee pays for the production of the pageant, facilities,
staging, lighting, prizes, administrative costs, production staffs, judge’s
expense, website, postage, office supplies, etc. This includes your
official state crown, custom embroidered sash, official T-shirt,
participation trophy, most meals during your stay, transportation
to and from rehearsals, copy of program book. Does not
include your airfare, hotel and travel expenses.
How
can I join the pageant for free?
You can join the pageant by choosing to sell Ad Pages. Delegates
selling 8 pages will get their entrance fee of $695.00 reimbursed.
Contestants selling 12 full pages of Ads, will receive their entry
fee ($695.00) and hotel paid for 4 nights at host hotel.
What are Ad pages?
Each delegate must sell at least one full page of Ad. Ad pages are
100% tax deductible under business expense “advertising”.
Any family, friends or business owner may sponsor you. A full page
ad cost $250.00. This is another form of advertising for your business
and showcasing yourself to the community. Ad pages are due
by September 1, 2008
What
is a state costume?
A state costume is what you will use as the opening number production.
You will wear something symbolic/mascot representing your state. Be creative
it does not have to be an expensive outfit.
Does
my evening gown have to be a certain style?
Evening Gown must be floor length and can be any style or color
you choose.
