Rules and Regulations Form

1. Each delegate must be at least 14 years of age and not older than 19 by the time of the national pageant in July 2008,

2. Delegates must be born female, single, never married, nor given birth to a child. She must possess beauty, intelligence, and charm, be a successful role model for other teens, character above reproach, and a professional demeanor.

3. Official Sponsorship Fee is $575.00. The deposit fee of $175.00 is included in sponsorship fee. If accepted, contestant must obtain at least one Full Page of Advertisement ($200.00).  Delegate is responsible for hotel accommodations, airfare to and from host state, entire wardrobe competition, and any incurred expenses during the entire event.

4. National Director has the right to cancel pageant if there are less than 20 applications.

5. Each Delegate must bring a souvenir/gift from her state for the gift exchange .

6. All decisions of the judges are final.

7. Any contestant and/or family member or guest showing unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated and could result in your disqualification. No refunds will be given at this point.

8. If for any reason a winner is disqualified, or elects not to participate, her title and all awards will be passed on to the next choice of the judges.

9. The Miss Teen World – US reserves the right to change the date and location of the National pageant.

10. Winner of the title Miss Teen World -US 2007 promises to promote the pageant by making a minimum of 6 personal appearances during their reign. Titleholders further promise to make no personal appearances or appear in any advertising and/or publications without permission from the National Director, and to return to the 2008 National Pageant to crown her successor.

11. Payment plan for remaining balances is as follows: April 1, 2007 due $200.00, May 1, 2007 due $200.00.

12. I understand that I may withdraw from the competition at any time, however, I in doing so, must return my crown and banner to the national office. Under no circumstances, and not for any reason shall I be entitled to a refund in whole or in part of any fees paid. All fees paid to Miss Teen World- US are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to all pageant fees, paid to Miss Teen World- US by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers.

13. State crowns and banners remain the property of the Miss Teen World – US Pageant until after the national competition. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Pageant disclaims liability for taxes, lost or stolen prizes or the action of the independent suppliers of the prizes. Any delegate who defaults on her contract must return all awards including crown and banner to the national office in the condition in which it was received and given to the first runner-up.

14. Miss Teen World -US Pageant reserves the right to modify or amend any rules and regulations, and qualifications at the sole discretion of the pageant authorities at any time.

Entrant must have a valid US passport and must be able to travel between Jan. - July 2008 to an International pageant.

15. I hereby agree that all audio, video and photographic recordings and or images made of my likeness during the performance of the 2007 pageant, shall be released, for use by Miss Teen World US, and International Pageant and it’s directors and staff.   I grant all rights exclusive to the Miss Teen World Us and International Pageant, to publish, reproduce, exhibit, broadcast, televise, copyright, assign to use in any manner whatsoever including advertising and promotional use in print video or internet use, without further written or verbal consent or payment. 

16.  In the event that I am not able to fulfill the requirements as a delegate,  I understand that I will not be able to participate in the 2007 pageant, all fees paid are non-refundable. 

 Delegate/parents agrees to release, and forever hold harmless, and waive any and all claims against Miss Teen World -US Pageant it’s owners, The Miss Teen World Organization, hotel/venue property, agents, volunteers, staffs, for property damage, injuries, losses, debts incurred arising from or occurring during any pageant related event even if said property damage injury, losses, debts incurred results from the negligent act or omissions, of the Directors, owners, volunteers, relatives, heirs, successors, and or assigns brings any legal action in violation of any of the agreed terms or provisions contained herein above, said contestants agree to fully indemnify and defend the Miss Teen World -US Pageant, it’s owners, agents, representatives, volunteers against said action.

I have read the foregoing terms and provisions carefully. As a parent/legal guardian I also fully understand the rules and regulations terms and provisions and agree to abide/comply therewith as evidenced by our signatures herein below.
